“There’s one sad truth in life I’ve found
While journeying east and west -
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best.
We flatter those we scarcely know,
…We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.”—Xander (via tiffannymarie)
I know the one person that will always be there for me, who will always love me for me, who won’t ever break my heart, who I know I will always love forever and that would be my mom. I know she will stick with me through the rough and tough times no matter what. Why? Well all because she loves me….

jerwin: OMG. I JUST RAN OVER A CROW. OMG. OMG. GAHHHHH
My first thought: REALLY? YES! YAY! One less scary bird around this neck of the woods…wait was it already dead? And wait. Can’t say that yet. Must be slightly compassionate toward the bird & driver. Wait. No. Must find out about the situation first. Yes, that’s what a sane person would ask. I think.
I’m still amazed he was able to run over a living crow.
So, I woke up at 5:50 AM to get ready for ACTs this morning. Why so early you ask? I signed up for ACTs late, so I had to take them in Watsonville. An hour or so drive down there. I drove on 17N for the first time. OMG, it was so scary, all those turns and curves and everything!!! I had to drive…
It IS really good! Just don’t skip to the end. The middle is the most suspenseful. :) You’ll enjoy it, I promise!
AND NO. I WILL CONTINUE USING MY FORK AND KNIFE, MUA HAH HAH!
And kung-fu in the park wasn’t as weird as speaking “gibberish Chinese” to the Asian walkers! HAHAH. <3
I better like it. The only time I read during the summer is if I have to for summer homework. This is totally different. So I better like it.
And NO. I will make you. I will make you. I will make you I will make you.
People have been asking me what my summer plans are. It’s simple. There are about 9.5 weeks of summer, the equivalent of 67 days. I will be spending these days with my friends and family. From June 21 to July 22, I will be taking my psychology class at EVC. I think that it’s going to be really fun :) I want to hike Mission Peak every other week. I’m not sure if that is going to happen, but… I will hike it at least three times this summer. I am going to spend a lot of time with my friends <3, duh! Especially because I have a car :), it’s a lot easier for me to get to places now. I’m going to practice the flute & piccolo a lot as well. I’ve decided that I want to double major in college: Psychology & Music. I just have to find a school that has a good program for both. SJSU does, but I DON’T WANT TO STAY HERE. So hopefully I can find somewhere else to go. I’m going to become a psychologist and have music gigs on the side for extra cash :). Two things I love, and I’ll be able to do them both. Yay! The past couple years, I really haven’t seen my family (immediate & relatives) very much, so this summer I will spend more time with my siblings, cousins, and other relatives. I’ve lost the communication I used to have with my family, but will slowly gain it back <3. Lastly, I’m going to start working out. I’m going to get the body I want. That’s my big personal goal. WAIT, I lied, I have one more thing I am going to accomplish. MICHELLE NGO, I will get you to eat something without a freaking fork & knife.
Oh, by the way, I’m going to end my summer on August 16th the best way possible. I’m going to see Lady Gaga live in concert with Trang :)
I had to drive with two hands for once :P. They were pretty easy; science was like WTF IS THIS. Anyway (see Michelle, I USED IT RIGHT! =]), after I went to Overfelt Gardens for the CMF meeting. It seems like it will be fun planning this. It also seems like a lot of work. This summer is going to be long and hardworking, yippee. It was already late afternoon when that ended, so I went home to take a shower. As I got out, I get a text from my mom asking me to get her some Starbucks and bring it to Mount Pleasant (because she was there with my sister, who had her dress rehearsal for her dance recital tomorrow). So I got there, got some gas money and filled up my gas tank!!! After, I went to pick Michelle up for dinner. We went to Red Lobster, yummy! We ate so much :O! She wanted to adventure off to Townsend Park to exercise. We did Kung-Fu stuff in the grass as people walked by and stared, HAHA. My next goal is to get her to step eating EVERYTHING with a fork and knife. I will get her to eat a slice of bread without having to use those darned things. She gave me Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It’s supposed to be REALLY GOOD. So, I will start reading tomorrow… maybe. She left a while ago, now I’m just sitting here blogging, thinking about a lot of stuff. I have way too much on my mind.

The school year has officially ended. I’m going to admit, I will miss this year. Some people say that Junior year is the most challenging and they hate it. I will admit that it is the most challenging, but I loved this year. This will probably be my favorite year throughout all of high school. I took two challenging AP classes and did my best in both of them. I took the AP Exams and did the best I could. Yes, I made mistakes, but who doesn’t? You make mistakes so you learn and don’t repeat them. This makes me think of Einstein’s definition of insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. If Einstein’s definition is correct, then during these past nine months, I was insane. I’m glad I did the same things over and over again, sometimes good things, other things, not so good.
It has been a very interesting year. I lost friends, but at the same time, gained many new and amazing ones. Some of them, I will stay friends with for the rest of my life. This year has just been so fun.
This final week of Junior year was sad. At the end of each one of my classes, I teared up. Despite anything that may have made me dislike the class, I’m grateful for all the hard work my teachers put in to make us smarter. Some, I’ll still be seeing next year. Like when I take Spanish 4. Gonzalez for the third year in a row. Wind Ensemble. Mr. P for my fourth and final year. I will still visit all my teachers from this year, especially my AP teachers; they’re the greatest. All you sophomores, I hope you get Stover for AP Lang. & Marchand for APUSH.
I can relate Junior year to this: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get” (Forrest Gump). It was a year of challenges, surprises, fun, sadness, and change.
So as I close this off, I leave with a final quote, “Never settle for less than your best.”
LOVE VS. SEX: A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God? Repost this as Love vs. Sex if you truly believe in God. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what and if you stand up for him he will stand up for you. I bet 93% of the people that read this wont repost it. I read this and reposted it. Well I bet you read this note because of the title, didn't you?
